4 Star Training
Over the last few weeks we have hosted two 4 star training weekends for members of the club.
Both weekend went well with positive and constructive feedback received.
Attendees are as follows:
Colin, Keith, Ali, Chucky, Zaf, Trevor and Bill
Norman, Jonathan, Dougie, Anoton, Simon, Duncan, Jason and Jordan.
As part of the training we covered river leadership strategies, Warm up's, pre paddle briefs and the responsibilities related to being the river leader.
If you are paddling with any of the above please give them opportunity to take the lead and develop their skills.
More training to follow.
As a club we will be looking into setting up some White Water Safety and Rescue training in the near future.
