Club Update- We're back!

 We're back!

After a long winter and with the lockdown restrictions easing the Club are finally getting back out on the water.

We have restarted our weekly Club nights and are busier than ever. If you've paddled before, either with us or elsewhere, then come and join us on the River at our own club house based on the grounds of The Bewdley School. These nights are great for improving your skills or just getting out there and having a good time. Our group leaders will help you to get out whether you have your own gear or need to borrow some of ours. Due to the current weather, we have been relocating some session to the canal and introducing people to some canoe polo as well as skills sessions.

For those of you who are looking to try out kayaking or canoeing for the first time or getting back into the sport after a long break, you should head along to one of monthly New Starter Sessions (Normally the first Friday of each month) where we can get you started in the sport and teach you some basic skills. The sessions will be held on a local sheltered spot nearby that will be confirmed on the night. We have all the kit you need, you just need to bring some enthusiasm and a passion to learn.

From Sunday 23rd May 2021 we will also be recommencing our pool sessions using the great facility at Holy Trinity School in Kidderminster. These sessions are very popular and can be accessed via the Facebook group.

Going forward we will be announcing some dates for club days out and river trips. Hopefully we can also arrange some social events as the restrictions ease further.

You can see what we're up to and keep an eye out for future events here via our Facebook group page.

Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions or queries and we will be only too happy to help.

Regards,

WFCC Committee
